  • Penn State Harrisburg Announces 2015-2016 CAC All-Academic Team

    Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg is pleased to announce the 2015-2016 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) All-Academic Team. The Lion athletic teams had 89 men and women earn the honor to be on the All-Academic team this year. To make the team, athletes must receive a 3.2 GPA over the course of the entire year.

    Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s volleyball team hosted fellow CAC competitor Mary Washington this afternoon. The Nittany Lions were swept by the Eagles after three sets (25-11, 25-11, 25-7).

    Middletown, Pa.- After a tough match at Southern Virginia, the Penn State Harrisburg women’s volleyball team looked to get their first conference win this evening against Frostburg State. The women dominated the opening set but fell after three sets to the Bobcats, (25-21, 25-16, 25-11).

    Salisbury, Md.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s volleyball team had a difficult road match at Salisbury. Despite a solid effort throughout all three sets, the Nittany Lions were swept by the Sea Gulls, 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-18).

    Middletown, Pa.- After a big win against Penn College on Tuesday, the Penn State Harrisburg women’s volley ball team looked for their second win in a row against York (Pa.) at home. The women won the first set but then fell to the Spartan’s 3-1.

    Dallas, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s volleyball team traveled to Misercordia University this morning to face the hosting team and Rosemont College. The Lions lost their first match of the day against Misercordia but they went on to beat the Ravens in their second match.

    YORK, Pa. - Boasting a 17-0 conference record and two conference championships since joining the CAC in 2013, it's no surprise that Christopher Newport was picked as the favorite to three-peat in a vote among CAC volleyball head coaches. CNU was unanimously atop the preseason poll with nine first-place votes and 81 points.
