Penn State Harrisburg traveled to Southern Virginia for their last road test of the year. The Lions fell to the Knights 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-14).
The Lions came into today's match looking for the first conference win of the year. The women fought hard in the first set but fell in a close set 25-21. The Knights proved too strong for the Lions taking the next two sets 25-13 and 25-14.
Leading the way for the Lions was Kari Ammerman (Troy, Pa / Troy Area) who had 14 digs on the day. Also, Rachale Hair (Newburg, Pa. / Big Spring) and Madison Chace (Paso Robles, Ca / Cedar Cliff) had strong individual days with 16 kills between them.
The Lions will look to bounce back Wednesday, October 28 when Frostburg State comes to town for a conference match starting at 7 P.M.
