Women's Volleyball Fall to York College

Middletown, Pa.- After a big win against Penn College on Tuesday, the Penn State Harrisburg women's volley ball team looked for their second win in a row against York (Pa.) at home. The women won the first set but then fell to the Spartan's 3-1. 

The Nittany Lions came out strong and won the first set 25-22. The second set was much more difficult for the women. Although they brought a strong intensity, they loss 25-9. Harrisburg went on to lose 25-17 in the third set and 26-16 in the fourth set. There were several Nittany Lions who had strong, individual performances. Sophomore Casey Stump (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) led the team with 23 assists and 12 digs. She was followed by teammate Madison Chace (Paso Robles, Ca / Cedar Cliff) who had 9 kills for Harrisburg. 

Up next for Penn State Harrisburg is an important conference match on Saturday. The women will host Christopher Newport at 5 pm.
