    Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg women's soccer player Kristin Stark (Lancaster, Pa. / Donegal) was just named the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Rookie of the Year as well as being named a First Team All-Conference Selection. She scored ten goals and had five assist in her first season as a Lion.
  • Penn State Harrisburg Announces 2015-2016 CAC All-Academic Team

    Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg is pleased to announce the 2015-2016 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) All-Academic Team. The Lion athletic teams had 89 men and women earn the honor to be on the All-Academic team this year. To make the team, athletes must receive a 3.2 GPA over the course of the entire year.

    On April 2nd, the Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team hosted their first annual alumni game. The current women’s soccer players took on sixteen alumni who were able to come back to campus for the event.

    Middletown, Pa- After a difficult loss to Christopher Newport this past weekend, the Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer came out strong this afternoon against Mary Washington. The game remained scoreless all the way through the first seventy-three minutes. The Nittany Lions proved to be the better team by winning 2-1.

    Newport News, Va.- It was a very exciting day for the Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team. The Nittany Lions traveled to Christopher Newport for a must win conference game. The women put up a very solid team effort but unfortunately fell to the Captains 3-2.

    Middletown, Pa.- This afternoon the Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team hosted fellow CAC competitor York (Pa.) in a key conference game. The Nittany Lions put up a solid effort throughout the entire game but fell to the Spartans 4-3.

    Middletown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team planned to honor their seniors on Saturday October 17th, but instead of just celebrating their time with the program, the ladies made it extra special as every field playing senior scored a goal on top of senior goalkeeper Samantha Kutcher (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick) earning her second straight shutout in the 8-0 win over the Southern Virginia Knights.

    Arlington, Va. – Penn State Harrisburg traveled to Marymount University on Friday October 9th in a conference match up against the Saints. The home team jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead, but the Lions fought back to win the game 4-3 in dramatic comeback fashion.

    Salisbury, Md. – The Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team came out extremely strong against one of the best teams in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Saturday September 26th. After starting the game on top thanks to Kylie Courtney’s ( Honey Brook, Pa. / Twin Valley ) first goal of her collegiate career just ten minutes in, the action didn’t stop until the 99th minute when the Salisbury Seagulls , playing with a one man advantage, scored their third goal of the day to claim the exciting 3-2 overtime win.

    Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team dominated Penn College this afternoon in a much needed win for the team. The game was very physical but the women stood tough and claimed their first win of the season 1-0 on Wednesday September 23rd.

    Middletown, Pa.- This afternoon the Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team hosted Elizabethtown College. The Nittany Lions put up a solid effort throughout the game but this was not enough. The Blue Jays went on to win 7-1.

    The Penn State Harrisburg women's soccer team showed up ready to play against a strong Washington College squad on Saturday September 12th. Erica Hile picked up two assists thanks to quality finishes by Kylie Courtney and Kristin Stark before the game was stopped in the 43rd minute due to weather. A make up date for the replay has not been set at this point.

    Selinsgrove, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team did not play their best soccer of the year Saturday September 5th against the Susquehanna Crusaders. Despite their tactical and technical ability not being at their best, the fight and effort the ladies gave in the final 45 minutes and two additional 10 minute overtime periods showed the true character of the team on way to an exciting 2-2 tie.
  • Lions Fall Short in Season Opener

    Middletown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg women’s soccer team had a great preseason run, starting off 2-0 prior to their first real contest Tuesday September 1st against the visiting Delaware Valley Aggies. Despite the Lions tying the game early in the second half, the Aggies regained momentum in the 70th minute and were able to hold on for a 2-1 win.
