    Penn State Harrisburg traveled to Dallas Pa, to take on Misericordia in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) south softball championship. The 7th seed Lions fell to the 2nd seeded Cougars 7-1.

    Penn State Harrisburg’s softball team will continue their season this Wednesday May 6th at 4:30 P.M. when they travel to Misericordia University for the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Softball Championship.

With this thought in mind, the Blue and White welcomed Albright to town Saturday April 25th for a double header. The Lions were able to take one of two as they continue their playoff push.
  • Penn State Harrisburg Splits With Juniata

    Middletown, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg came out firing with a 9-3 win on Tuesday April 21st when they hosted Juniata College. Unfortunately, the Lions ran out of steam in game two of the afternoon when the Eagles were able to even things up on the day with their large comeback 11-8 win to close out the day.

    Reading, Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg softball team struggled to get back to the winning ways the team started with throughout most of March during a double header road trip to Alvernia University. Unfortunately, the Lions suffered a 5-2 loss in game one and a 12-4 loss in game two.

    Middletown, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg welcomed conference foe Frostburg State to town Saturday April 4th. Unfortunately, the Blue and White fell victim to the high powered offense of the Bobcats and were swept at home 11-2 and 9-0.

    Middletown, Pa. – As the fight for post-season positioning in the Capital Athletic Conference continues, every win is important. Penn State Harrisburg and York College entered Wednesday’s double-header ranked third and fourth in the standings. The two teams split the double-header series Wednesday April 1st with the Lions taking game one, 2-1 and York winning game two, 10-1.

    Middletown Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg softball team was eager to get back to their winning ways after losing their double header match up with the #2 team in the country, Salisbury University on Sunday March 30th. The Seagulls were an extremely tough matchup, but the Wesley Wolverines were not going to be any sort of pushover game.

    Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg split its double header with Franklin and Marshall on Thursday March 26th. The Lions took the first game 5-1 before falling in the second 5-3 in just six innings before a downpour ended the game an inning early.

    Myrtle Beach, SC. – The Penn State Harrisburg softball team will be returning home from their trip to Myrtle Beach South Carolina with a feeling of accomplishment. After starting their season 0-2, the Lions have won six straight, including wins Tuesday March 10th against MacMurray and Mt. Aloysius.

    Myrtle Beach, SC. – Penn State Harrisburg left no doubt who was the stronger team in their double header on Monday March 9, 2015. The Lions started the day facing off against the SUNY IT Wildcats. Amanda Hartman (Reading, Pa. / Oley Valley) proved her worth early this season by throwing a three hitter in the team’s 9-1 win.

  • Lions Drop Both in Softball Season Opener

    Myrtle Beach, Sc. - Penn State Harrisburg kicked off their 2015 campaign on the shores of Myrtle Beach. Unfortunately, they didn't get the start they hoped for as they fell to Messiah College 9-1. The Blue and White weren't able to turn things around in the second leg of their double header Saturday March 7th, getting shut out 11-0 by Rowan University.
