    MIDDLETOWN, PA - Susquehanna University and Juniata College paid a visit to our Men´s and Women´s tennis teams on Saturday and Sunday. The Lady Lions came into the contest on Saturday 2-0 with the Nittany Lions just kicking off their season.
  • PSH´s Women´s Tennis Captures NEAC Titles, First for School

    MIDDLETOWN, PA - Penn State Harrisburg women´s tennis team won the 2008-09 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) regular season championship and the 2008-09 NEAC team tournament championship, each was the first team championship in school history. Additional, Becky Cecere, received the Conference Coach of the Year honors, also a school first.
  • NORTH EASTERN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK SELECTIONS

    The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces student-athlete of the week selections for the week ending April 5, 2009 in the sport of women´s tennis. Lauren Hall (Duncannon, PA) was selected as the NEAC Women´s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance for the Penn State Harrisburg Nittany Lions. Hall, a freshman, won both her singles and doubles matches at the #1 flight. In singles, she finished with a score of 6-1, 6-3 while in doubles she finished with a score of 8-3. Hall´s performance this week got her team their first win in the NEAC on the season with a conference record of 1-0.
  • Promising Start for the Women´s Tennis Team

    MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Lady Lions´ women´s tennis team started their season off with a solid 7 to 2 victory over the visiting Penn State Altoona Nittany Lions. Last year´s match told a different story for the Lady Lions losing to Altoona 8 to 1. "We have more depth this year. We won´t rely solely on our number one and number two, but all our flights will be solid," states Coach Becky Cecere.
