    Middletown, PA – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s basketball team fought through the wintery conditions to play its final game against the Christopher Newport Captains Saturday February 21st. Seniors Alberto De Los Santos (East Pennsboro, Pa. / East Pennsboro) and Joey Farthing (Lancaster, Pa. / Hempfield) both had strong performances in what was the final game of their collegiate careers.

    Fredericksburg, Va. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s basketball team has not had the season they have hoped for, but that has not stopped the Lion men from fighting hard in every contest as this season comes to a close. The trend continued Saturday February 14th against the Mary Washington Eagles, who had to earn their 73-65 win over the Lions.

The Lions Tariq Bennett (Philadelphia, Pa. / Milton Hershey School) produced his season high, but the Blue and White fell just a tad short losing to the Knights 68-64.

The Bobcats came into the contest today two games ahead of the Lions and tied for the sixth and final playoff spot in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC).

Many would argue that the rough travels began with York’s 59-58 OT win at Penn Stare Harrisburg to start the conference season off. After returning the favor Wednesday January 28th winning 64-57, the Blue and White hope to use the momentum to finish the final third of the season on a different track.

The Blue and White battled punch for punch with the Saints for the majority of the game but couldn’t pull off the upset as they let Marymount pull away late to win 82-63.

    Middletown, Pa. – Despite more than two-thirds of the conference schedule yet to be played, the Penn State Harrisburg men’s basketball team was starting to feel the pressure of needing a win to stay in the playoff hunt. Thanks to a huge three pointer with just two seconds remaining, the Lions are now hanging in tied with Frostburg State and York College all at 2-3 in the Capital Athletic Conference Standings.

    Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg Men’s Basketball has had a rough start to their 2014 campaign and unfortunately was not able to turn things around on the final day of 2014. Harrisburg was able to recover from its ten point first half deficit, but in the final two minutes could not take advantage of the charity stripe and fell to The College of New Jersey 66-58.

    Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg junior forward, Arick Sodini (Manalapan, Nj. / St. John Vianney) has gotten off to an impressive start through the first nine games of this young 2014-2015 season. Averaging 11.9 points per game and leading the Lions in scoring this season, Sodini was spotlighted in the CAC introducing page on the conference website. Sodini and the rest of the Penn State Harrisburg men’s basketball team will look to pick up their second win of the season and get the 2015 season started off twelve hours early with a win over visiting TCNJ on December 31st at noon.

    Frostburg, Md. -The Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team already has a reputation for being a team that battles hard. Unfortunately, they have also started a recent trend of losing late in tight games. The Lions fell tonight in the final minute to the Frostburg St. Bobcats 70-66 in another hard fought loss.

    Middletown, Pa - The Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team competes in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) which frequently will have anywhere from 3-4 nationally ranked teams throughout a season. Despite the difficult schedule ahead, the Lions have shown they are not afraid to play anyone, including the Division I United States Naval Academy.
  • Harrisburg Late Rally Not Enough Against Crusader's

    The Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team used a second half rally to keep in contention with the undefeated Susquehanna Crusader's Monday night at the Capital Union Building. The Lions had the game within 10 points with just over six minutes to play, but could not keep the Crusader's off the glass or missing from outside enough and eventually suffered a 76-62 loss.

    Reading, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg looked to pick up their first victory of the season Saturday against a tough Albright team on the road. The hosting Lions had a different plan in mind as they sent the Blue and White home losing their fourth game of the season 75-62.
