My daughters ages 10 and 13 have been very fortunate to have worked with Coach Grubesky as their soccer coach as well as attended camps that he has organized and coached. Coach Grubesky is always involved, engaged and enthusiastic about coaching and takes a genuine interest in each player regardless of skill level or age. He spends many off season week-ends at soccer clinics and conferences to gain more knowledge of the game. He also finds creative ways to make soccer fun. I remember my younger daughter coming home from a camp when she was 7 and eagerly showing me her new moves that Coach had taught to her. Coach Grubesky has a passion for soccer and that is obvious in his coaching as well as his organization of camps that my daughters have attended. The camps move seamlessly from one activity to the next and the games reinforce skills that were taught. Coach Grubesky makes soccer fun while promoting growth in the game and developing new skills. He has a variety of “games” that the kids love playing, each designed to develop a different skill or technique used in soccer. My kids look forward to the times they get to practice with Coach. After a normal season practice I often will hear my daughter say… “I wish we would play that …game we played with Coach Rudy. It really made us focus on…. ” He is always encouraging and has a true passion for helping the younger generation grow to love soccer as much as he does. He makes sure that he recognizes every single player for something the accomplished or improved upon. It is because of Coach that my two younger children love to play, and thrive in, the game of soccer. Good coaches are hard to come by and great coaches are a true blessing. Coach Rudy has organized and directed multiple camps for youth soccer players in Adams County. All the camps that our daughter attended were well organized, beneficial and fun. The players were able to continue to develop their skills while having fun. As parents we found the camps to be cost effective and efficient.
