  • Williams and Weaver Named Penn State Harrisburg Student-Athletes of the Year

    Middletown, Pa. - On Friday, June 23rd, Athletic Director, Rahsaan Carlton announced that Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer forward Victor Weaver and cross country/women’s track and field standout Ashley Williams were named the school’s 2016-2017 Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year.

    The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team and coaching staff will be holding their annual Spring ID clinic on Saturday April 8th from 1:00-5:00 pm. Their is also an optional campus tour and lunch prior to the clinic for those who are interested in attending.

  • Overtime PK Ends Lions ECAC Title Hopes

    Lebanon, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team dominated play in their first two Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) playoff games earning them a spot in the final four after a 4-1 win over Altoona in the sweet sixteen and a 2-0 win over Alfred in the quarterfinal. Unfortunately, Harrisburg’s impressive run ended Saturday November 19th as an overtime penalty kick was all that separated the Lions and Drew University.

    Alfred, NY.- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team cruised passed Alfred University on Sunday November 13th for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Quarterfinals. Mena Rezkalla and Mitchell Saye found the back of the net for the Lion’s to give them a 2-0 win.
  • Blue and White Move on to Quarterfinals with Win Over Altoona

    Alfred, NY- The #3 Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team eliminated #2 Penn State Altoona from the Eastern College Athletic Conference’s Division III Championship Tournament on Saturday night. Harrisburg dominated Altoona in their 4-1 win in the Region 4 first round game at Alfred University.

    Penn State Harrisburg senior forward Jonathan Majin and junior midfielder Victor Weaver were both named to the All-CAC second team. It was the first all-star award for both players.
  • Lions Men's Soccer Earns ECAC Playoff Spot

    The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team extended their season for at least another week by getting selected into the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) playoffs. Harrisburg will travel to Alfred University on Saturday November 12th to face off against Penn State Altoona in the round of sixteen.
  • Panuccio Leads Late Surge, Lion's Fall Short to Frostburg

    Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team hosted Frostburg State on Saturday October 29th for the first round of Capital Athletic Conference playoffs. The visitors jumped to an early 1-0 lead but the Lion’s battled back in the final minutes of play to try and tie it up. Frostburg State went on to win 3-2, eliminating Penn State Harrisburg from the tournament.
  • Men's Soccer Falls at Mary Washington, 3-2

    Fredericksburg, Va.- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team fell on the road on Wednesday October 26th when they traveled to Mary Washington for their final game of the regular season. Ethan Hoover game the Lion’s and early 1-0 lead but the Eagles finished two goals late in the second half to seal their 3-2 win over Harrisburg.

    Middletown, Pa. The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team looked to beat Christopher Newport on Saturday October 22nd to move up in the standings as conference playoffs approach. Harrisburg tied the game up, 2-2, in the second half but two late goals by the Captains pushed the visitors to a 4-2 win.

    Harrisburg, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team ended their five game winning streak on Wednesday October 19th as they faced Frostburg State. The Lion’s grabbed an early 1-0 lead but the visitors scored two goals in the first half to grab the win.

    Arlington, Va.- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team held on for their fifth straight win on Saturday October 15th against the Marymount (Va.) Saints. Both teams could not find the back of the net before the Lion’s were awarded a penalty kick in the 83rd minute of play. Harrisburg held on to win 1-0.

    Dover, DE- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team won their fourth straight conference game on Wednesday October 12th against Wesley. Four Lion’s got on the board throughout the match for their 4-0 shutout of the home team.

    Harrisburg, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team defeated Salisbury University on Saturday October 8th for their third straight conference win. The Lion’s found an early 2-0 lead before the visitors scored two straight to tie the match up. Chase Vilga found the back of the net in the 79th minute of play for the game winner.

After going down midway through the first half, the Lions came out firing in the second half scoring in the first minute and then again thank to a Chase Vilga header for the game winner less than ten minutes later for Harrisburg's first Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) victory

Members of both the men’s and women’s soccer teams descended upon the house of Jennifer Miller in the 400 block of Eshelman Street in Highspire, to help Jennifer’s mother Dixie Hoover move into an apartment at the Village of Pineford in Middletown.

    The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team grabbed their fourth win of the season tonight against Penn State Berks. The Lion’s first goal of the match came in the second minute of play as Chase Vilga had a breakaway, beating the keeper at the near post. The assist was given to teammate Victor Weaver. The Lion’s did not score their second goal until the 85th minute of play as Jonathan Majin once again beat the keeper to put Harrisburg on the board for a second time.

Einahrawry made the coaches day by scoring the game winner in the second overtime period which earned men's soccer head coach Daniel Krzyzanowicz his 200th career win!
