Elnahrawy Scores in Double OT, Coach K claims 200th win

Middletown, Pa - The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team showed tremendous character and effort in a game for the record books Saturday September 10th against Lebanon Valley College.  Justin Elnahrawry made the coaches day by scoring the game winner in the second overtime period which earned men's soccer head coach Daniel Krzyzanowicz his 200th career win!

The Lion's showed they were ready to play right away as they earned the first shot of the match from Justin Elnahrawy. Within the next ten minutes, Harrisburg recorded five straight shots from several players, forcing Cam Alexander to make five big saves. The visitors earned a penalty kick in the seventeenth minute of play. Goal keeper Brandon Hoover made a tremendous save on the kick but was unable to save the rebound as Lebanon Valley took a 1-0 lead. The Lion's trailed 1-0 heading into halftime.
 

In the second half, both teams battled back and forth to find the second goal of the afternoon. With only five minutes to go in regulation, Victor Weaver sent a beautiful cross into the box and found teammate Manny Little to tie the game up. Both teams could not find the back of the net after the first overtime. As the second overtime got underway, Nate Morgan crossed the ball into the box and found the foot of Elnahrawy. Elnahrawy finished the cross to give Harrisburg a big win over Lebanon Valley who was undefeated headed into todays game. Today's win was also head coach Daniel Krzyzanowicz's 200th career win.

Penn State Harrisburg will travel to Penn State Berks on Wednesday September 14th. Game time is scheduled for 7 pm.
