    Harrisburg, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team hosted Penn State Berks on Monday April 17th for the Lion’s final home game of the 2017 season. Harrisburg defeated the visitors 6-2.
  • Lion's Drop Final Conference Games to Newport

    Newport News, Va.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team closed out their 2017 CAC regular season play on Saturday April 15th against Christopher Newport. The Lion’s were swept by the Captains 9-0 in game one and 7-3 in game two.

    York, Pa.- After a big win yesterday against Messiah, the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team looked to extend their winning streak against York (Pa). The Lion’s had a strong opening and closing inning but could unfortunately could not overcome the home team’s offense with a 9-6 loss to the Spartans.

    Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team hosted non-conference opponent Messiah on Tuesday April 11th where the Lion’s trailed 1-0 for most of the game before tying the game up in the ninth inning. Harrisburg walked off in the 10th inning to win 2-1 over the Falcons.
  • Penn State Harrisburg Falls on the Road to Lebanon Valley

    Annville, Pa.- After Penn State Harrisburg jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the top of the fifth, Lebanon Valley came back to score 11 runs to defeat the Lion’s 11-7 on Sunday April 9th. Penn State Harrisburg dropped to 11-20 while the Dutchmen improved to 12-11.

    Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team hosted the No. 22 Salisbury University Seagulls for a CAC matchup at home. Salisbury swept the series 10-0 and 14-3 on Saturday April 8th.

    Lexington, Va.- On Saturday April 1st the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team headed south to take on Southern Virginia for a CAC double header. The Lion’s cruised by the home team in game one 13-9 and dominated the second match up with an impressive final score of 29-8.

    Middletown, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg was back on the diamond today with a home conference game against York College. Travis VanHouten started out solid with four shutout innings to begin the afternoon. Penn State was the first team to cross home plate with a Brubaker single in the bottom of the fourth driving home Ethan Kell, who doubled earlier in the inning. The Lions ended the fourth with the bases loaded.
  • Penn State Harrisburg Tops the Saints 8-3

    Middletown, Pa.- Last week the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team dropped a conference win to Marymount (Va.) 10-9. This afternoon, The Lion’s hosted the Saints for the second half of their double-header and cruised by the visitors 8-3. Mark Artley grabbed his first win on the mound with 7 strike outs in 6 innings.

    Frostburg, Md.- After a difficult start to the 2017 season due to weather conditions, the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team looked to get back on track on Saturday March 24th as they traveled to Frostburg State for a CAC double header. The Lion’s took game one 3-2 but fell in the second match up 17-8.

    Middletown, PA.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team defeated Mary Washington on Monday March 13th for their first conference win of the season. The Lion’s won the first game 3-2 before falling in the second match up 8-6 to split the day with the Eagles.

    Chestertown, MD – Josh Brubaker fell a single short of the cycle, Brendan Riotto earned his first save of the season, and Penn State Harrisburg overcame an early deficit to top Washington College on Thursday afternoon, 7-4. It was their fourth win of the season.

    The 2017 CAC baseball season will likely feature another tight race for the conference crown, as evidenced by four CAC teams receiving first-place votes in a preseason vote among the conference head coaches. Salisbury, Frostburg State, Marymount, and Christopher Newport each received at least one first-place nod in the 2017 CAC Baseball Preseason Poll.
