Baseball Takes Down Berks 6-2 for Final Home Game

Harrisburg, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team hosted Penn State Berks on Monday April 17th for the Lion's final home game of the 2017 season. Harrisburg defeated the visitors 6-2.

Game Highlights:

Both teams had a strong first inning as Berks hit a home run in the bottom of the first followed by four RBI's for Harrisburg in the bottom of the first. Zachary Koroneous got things started for Harrisburg with a ground ball to second base followed by a home run from Ethan Kell as Josh Brubaker and Bret Williams ran home. The Lion's added one more in the second thanks to a single to center field by Scott Angstadt Jr. In the fourth, Bret Williams singled to right field to send Justin O'Dell to home plate. Penn State Berks scored one final run in the seventh off a single to center field but Harrisburg's early lead proved to be enough to take down Berks 6-2.
