Rae Rae Taylor had an outstanding night at Bucknell, as she racked up 3,331 points in the pentathlon after winning three of the five events and breaking a pair of program records. The sophomore won the high jump portion, the shot put stage and the long jump portion. Her total score is also good enough to currently rank her fifth in the nation.
La Crosse, WI- Cameron Yon earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Championships in the Discus Throw, by taking seventh place in the Discus Throw, tossing the discus 51.35 Meters. Jalil Clayton and Alex White also took part in the Championship, competing in the 110 Meter Hurdles, 400 Meter Hurdles and Long Jump.

Harrisburg, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams are sending five athletes to participate in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 24-26 in Spire, Ohio. On the Women’s side Sarah Lehman will take part in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, and Rae Rae Taylor will compete in the Heptathlon. For the Men’s team, Cameron Yon qualified in the Discus Throw, Jalil Clayton qualified in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 400 Meter Hurdles, and Alex White qualified in the Long Jump.
Baltimore, MD- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s Track & Field team took 3rd out of 28 teams at the ECAC Championships hosted by Johns Hopkins. Jalil Clayton picked up a pair of ECAC Championships in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 400 Meter Hurdles. Cameron Yon picked up the ECAC Championship in the Discus Throw and Alex White won the ECAC Championship in the High Jump. Finally Daniel Parker won the ECAC Championship in the Javelin Throw.
Harrisburg, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg junior Jalil Clayton earned first team honors in the 400 hurdles. Second-team performers for the Lions were junior Cameron Yon in the discus and sophomore Joseph Rebarchak in the javelin. Yon claimed All-CAC honors in the discus for the third straight season, while Rebarchak was a repeat All-CAC honoree in the javelin.
Salisbury, MD.- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams had very successful outing in the CAC Championships held at Salisbury University. The Men’s team finished sixth with a team score of 56 Points. The Women’s team scored 52 Points which earned them a seventh place finish. Rae Taylor, Sarah Lehman, and Jalil Clayton each won CAC Championships in various events. All together fifteen different Lions scored points in the championships.
Salisbury, MD.- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field are off to an excellent start in day one of the 2018 CAC Outdoor Conference Championships. Rae Rae Taylor picked up CAC championship in the Long Jump and Javelin Throw. Joseph Rebarchak picked up a second place finish in the Javelin and Sarah Lehman finished second in the Long Jump. Alex White and Cameron Yon also scored team points in the Long Jump and Hammer Throw respectively.
Penn State Harrisburg sophomore Alex White was selected as the CAC Field Athlete of the Week after setting a new CAC record in the long jump at the Paul Kaiser Classic. White jumped to a mark of 7.25 meters, breaking the previous CAC record of 7.25 meters set by York's Phil Cavaluchi in 2013. His jump ranks ninth in Division III so far this spring.
Harrisburg, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s Track & Field team is preparing to compete in the CAC championships this Friday and Saturday May 4th and 5th at Salisbury University. The Lions have had an outstanding season, highlighted by having athletes ranked in the top 35 in six events.
Penn State Harrisburg junior Cameron Yon claimed CAC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second straight week after breaking the CAC record in the discus with the top throw in Division III this season. Competing at the Bison Outdoor Classic, Yon registered a mark of 55.83 meters in the discus throw, breaking the previous CAC record of 54.79 meters set by Mary Washington's James Eberhardt in 2005. His mark is tops in Division III by nearly six feet.
Lewisburg, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams had another great showing at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Cameron Yon Discus Throw of 55.83 Meters, which places him first in all of Division III so far this season.
Penn State Harrisburg junior Cameron Yon received CAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after posting the fourth-best mark in Division III in the discus at the Millersville Metrics on Saturday. Yon delivered a throw of 51.56 meters, which ranks atop the CAC and fourth nationally this spring. His effort earned him second place in the event, defeating several Division II competitors.
Penn State Harrisburg opened its 2018 Outdoor Men’s and Women’s Track & Field season at the Jim Taylor Invitational at Susquehanna University on March 31st. The Lions got off to a strong start having several athletes break school records and produce times and distance good enough to qualify for championships later in the season.
New York, NY - Penn State Harrisburg Men's Track & Field team placed 5th out of 32 teams at the 2017-18 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted at the New York City Armory. Harrisburg was led by Jalil Clayton and Alex White who both claimed first place finishes in their respective events. The Lions recorded 47 team points in the ECAC Championships.
Harrisburg, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg’s Men’s and Women’s Track & Field team are sending nine athletes to the ECAC Championship in New York City on March 2nd and 3rd in hopes of improving their position nationally. To qualify for the NCAA Men’s Championship, an athlete needs to hold a top 15 time or distance and for the Women’s Championship, they need to hold a top 17 time or distance.

Newport News, Va- Penn State Harrisburg Men's Track & Field team tied for 5th place at the 2017-18 CAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Blue & White were lead by Jalil Clayton who scored team points in six events. The Lions recorded 58 team points in the Championships.
Newport News, Va- Penn State Harrisburg’s Men’s Track & Field will travel to Christopher Newport this weekend to compete in the CAC Championships. The Lions have seven athletes seeded in the top 4 entering this weekend’s championships.
The Capital Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships are being held Friday and Saturday February 16-17. Penn State Harrisburg is in a great position in many events and will likely come home with a few individual titles. Facing a mix of CAC foes and Division I & II competition, the Lions showcased their abilities on the track and in the field breaking five school records along the way.

Sparkill, NY- Penn State Harrisburg competed against tough competition at the Spartan Track & Field Invitational, but reaped the rewards as several athletes improved on their top times and distances.
Selinsgrove, Pa- The Penn State Harrisburg Men’s Track and Field team got its season off on promising note with a strong showing at the River Hawk Opener. The Lions set several school records and saw multiple athletes’ post times and distances that will qualify them for the CAC and ECAC Championships.
