Ladies' Season Ends With Loss to KeukaFebruary 23, 2013Lancaster Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions waited a full year for today’s playoff rematch against the Keuka Storm. Saturday’s conference semi-final matchup is now the fourth straight year the teams have met in post season play. The past three years have all fallen in favor of the Storm, which after today probably feels more like a never ending hurricane as Keuka again ended the Lions hope for a championship 81-68.

Harrisburg was led by strong overall performances by Mercedes Copeland (Reading, Pa. / Reading) and Amanda Moyer (Carlisle, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) that both were just one rebound shy of earning double-doubles helping the Lions earn a spot in the conference semi-finals this Saturday.

Yetter Scores 1,000; Lions Win AgainFebruary 13, 2013Middletown Pa. – Everyone in the CUB came to the first annual costume night game excited to see the show. Even with all the hoopla going on, Steph Yetter (Thompsontown, Pa. / East Juniata) stole the show scoring the first point of the game which also was her 1,000 point for the senior captain. Harrisburg beat conference rival Penn State Berks with a score of 90-71 picking up their 12th conference win.

They have experienced sudden loss of players due to injuries, set individual career high’s, set new team records, won a lot of games, lost a few, and even had one Lucky player get a second chance. This game will be remembered as a thriller that went down to the last 30 seconds before Harrisburg would get out gunned by just a little bit and travel home with a 68-63 loss.
