Shank Claims 2nd Team HonorsApril 19, 2017Penn State Harrisburg senior Tyler Shank closed out his career with his fourth-straight All-CAC honor as a second-team recipient. Shank was also a second-teamer in 2016 after earning first-team honors in 2015 and 2014 along with Rookie of the Year honors his freshman season.

Shank leads Lions at CAC Golf ChampionshipApril 16, 2017Cape Charles, Va. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s golf team spent the Easter weekend at the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Golf Championship hosted by the Christopher Newport Captains. Tyler Shank led the Lions, finishing tied for 9th place overall and earning second team all-conference honors.

CAC Golf Championship PreviewApril 13, 2017The Penn State Harrisburg men's golf team is ready for the biggest tournament so far this season. Since joining the CAC, the Lions have had two second place finishes and last year finished third. Harrisburg hopes the experienced gained over the past few season and senior leadership from Tyler Shank and Matt Hoare will make the difference in 2017.

Hoare and Miller Lead Golf Team at Lebanon Valley College’s Dutchman InvitationalApril 03, 2017LEBANON, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg golf team traveled to Lebanon on Monday to compete in the LVC Dutchman Invitational. The Lions managed to earn an 8th place finish out of the 12 teams competing in the contest. Their combined score on the day came to 340—52 over par.

Lions Golf Team Opens Spring Season at McDaniel Spring InvitationalMarch 26, 2017Abbottstown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg golf team opened their spring season this weekend at the McDaniel Spring Invitational. The Lions placed 14th out of 16 schools participating, finishing day one with a team score of 343, then improving in day two with a 331 score. The final score was 674.

Lions Finish Fall Season at Peter C. Rossin MemorialOctober 11, 2016Canonsburg, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg golf team concluded their fall season this weekend at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Tournament. The Lion’s placed fourth in the tournament. The Blue and White carded a team score of 361 on day one and improved on day two with a score of 354.

Harrisburg Participates in Mason-Dixon Collegiate ClassicOctober 03, 2016Abbottstown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg golf squad traveled to McDaniel over the weekend for the 2016 Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic held at Bridges Golf Club. The Lion’s finished 12th overall out of 13 teams in the tournament.

Lion's Place Sixth at Bay Creek InvitationalSeptember 28, 2016Cape Charles, Va.- The Penn State Harrisburg golf squad finished 6th at the 2016 Bay Creek Invitational with a total score of 650.

Penn State Harrisburg Junior Keith Miller Named CAC Golfer of the WeekSeptember 21, 2016Penn State Harrisburg junior Keith Miller was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week after placing second individually and leading the Lions to the team title at the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational. Miller shot a one-under (-1) par 143 (73-70) to claim second place in a field of 66 golfers, finishing behind only Gettysburg's Danny Harcourt (-4). The Lions won the 13-team tournament with a two-day total of 593, defeating Franklin & Marshall by five strokes.

Penn State Harrisburg Wins Fall InvitationalSeptember 19, 2016Middletown Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg golf team hosted the 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Fall Invitational over the last two days at Dauphin Highlands Golf Club. The Lion’s finished first in the tournament with an overall score of 593 (+17).

Harrisburg Places 10th at Tom Kinder Memorial TournamentSeptember 13, 2016Harrisonburg, VA- The Penn State Harrisburg golf team opened up the 2016 season over the past two days during the Tom Kinder Memorial Tournament hosted by Bridgewater College. The Lion’s shot a 312 on day one and improved on day two with 302. Harrisburg’s total score put them in 10th place out of a total of 17 teams.
