BALTIMORE - Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's cross country teams took part in the Coach Caslin Classic hosted by Goucher on Friday afternoon. The men's squad finished third of six competing teams, while the women were also one of six programs in competition.

Jon Carnesi was the top finisher on the men's side, as his time of 30:52.8 was good enough to secure him 13th overall out of 53 total runners in the 8K race. Darryl Osei and Caleb Mendolia came home back-to-back in 26th and 27th place, respectively, while Camden Lynch earned a 32nd-place finish. Nicholas White was 41st, Tyler Price finished 47th, and Steven Benavides rounded out the team's contingency in 53rd.

On the women's side, Sarah Gibbons continued to lead the way as she has for much of the season, finishing 46th in a field of 51 total runners in the 6K event. Leah Gray, Alexus Brown, and Gabrielle Dietrich crossed the line back-to-back-to-back in 47th, 48th, and 49th, respectively, to complete the team's scoring group.

The Lions will now get two weeks to prepare for their next outing at the Last Chance Run Fast Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley on Friday evening, Oct. 20.
