Ladies Finish 2012 at NEAC Championships

ABINGTON, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's 2012 season came to an end at the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) championship invitational held in Abington, Pa. on Saturday, Oct. 27.  The Lions took home tenth place in the team standings while the ladies' highest finishing runner was junior Alisha House (Crownpoint, N.M. / Thoreau) whose time of 26:53 was good enough for 41st place.

Following House for the Blue and White was Hannah Jorich (Middletown, Pa. / Middletown Area).  The sophomore finished 51st overall with a time of 27:56.  Freshman Fay Johnston (Gilbertsville, Pa. / Boyertown) came home 70th thanks to her time of 31:12. 
 
Katelin Wilson (Long Pond, Pa. / Pocono Mountain West) and AnneMarie Prozillo (Lancaster, Pa. / Conestoga Valley) finished back-to-back in 79th and 80th places while Haldis Zhang (Nanjing, Tiansu) rounded out the Lions' runners in 84th.
 
SUNY Cobleskill won the NEAC team championship while Wells' sophomore Emily Middlebrook won the league's individual title on her way to earning Runner of the Year honors.  Penn State Berks freshman Laura Keller earned NEAC Rookie of the Year status while Cobleskill's Mitch Mitch Tomaszkiewicz was named the conference's Coach of the Year.
