LATHAM, N.Y. - For the second consecutive week and fourth time this season, Penn State Harrisburg's Olivia Bandini has been named the United East Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Bandini's most-recent accolade is her fourth of the year after she earned the honor in late September and three more times this month.

The freshman recorded six total wins last week, including three victories from the No. 1 singles position and three more from the top doubles spot. Against the conference leaders from St. Mary's (Md.) on Tuesday, she and teammate Breanna DeSantis rolled to an 8-0 win in the No. 1 doubles contest before securing a 6-3, 6-4 decision in the top singles outing. Against Lancaster Bible on Friday, the Dillsburg, Pa. native again teamed with DeSantis for an 8-0 sweep in the first doubles matchup before winning the top singles contest 6-0, 6-1. Against Penn College on Saturday, she and DeSantis earned another 8-0 sweep in the No. 1 doubles outing before Bandini swept through the top singles matchup to finish the season undefeated in conference play.

The Lions (7-5, 4-1 United East) will begin postseason play when they face Lancaster Bible in the semifinal round of the United East Championship Tournament at the Hershey Racquet Club on Saturday.
