KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 setback at Division II Kutztown on Thursday afternoon, March 30. NCAA Division II scoring rules were used, with doubles counting as a single available point when one team wins two of the three contests.

In doubles play, Penn State Harrisburg's top duo of Olivia Bandini and Sarah Shaub rolled to a convincing 6-0 sweep of Ava Lewis and Jess Marks but Kutztown won the remaining pair of contests to earn the overall point.

Bandini continued her strong play in singles action, securing a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Lewis in the No. 1 solo matchup to clinch Penn State Harrisburg's lone win.

The Lions (2-4) are set to begin conference play when they host United East foe Penn State Berks at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.
