HILTON HEAD, S.C. – After a four-month hiatus, Penn State Harrisburg's women's tennis team returned to action during the program's spring break trip to South Carolina on Sunday afternoon, March 3. The Lions fell to Moravian 7-2 in the squad's first match of the week.
Penn State Harrisburg (2-5) came away with one victory in doubles action, as Abigail Clifford and Erin Harnish teamed up to secure a 9-7 win over the Greyhounds' duo of Destiny George and Hannah Pellicciotti in the No. 3 contest.
Singles play saw Courtney Bennett account for the Lions' lone victory, as she worked hard to win the first set at 7-6 before wrapping up the win with a 6-3 decision in set two.
The Blue & White will get back to it against Penn State Behrend on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
