LATHAM, N.Y. - Thanks to her efforts in a pair of wins last week, Penn State Harrisburg's Kylee Altland has been named the United East Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Altland helped lead Penn State Harrisburg to a pair of victories that kept the team unbeaten in conference play. The senior netted the game-winning goal in the 94th minute of a 2-1 comeback victory in overtime at Lancaster Bible on Wednesday night. The Millersburg, Pa. native followed it up another marker and an assist in a dominant 6-0 win at Gallaudet on Saturday afternoon. Altland currently leads the team in both total points (13) and goals (6) on the season.
The Lions are set to wrap up the regular season when they host Penn State Berks for a crucial United East contest on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 23. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
