GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their regular seasons by participating in the 31st annual Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday morning, Oct. 19.

 

The men's squad earned a 26th-place finish as a group, with Kadeem Willis coming home as the team's top finisher. The senior completed the 8K course in a time of 30:36.3 to secure a 152nd-place finish out of 236 individual runners.

 

Next up for the Blue & White was Camilo Ruiz. The freshman was followed by Charles-Antoine Sokohl, Andrew Bomberger and Prabin Bhattarai.

 

The women's team also emerged with a 26th-place finish as a whole. The ladies were led by Alyssa Knisley in 199th place out of a total of 259 individual runners thanks to her effort of 30:11.9 in the 6K event.

 

Following Knisley for the Lions was Abagail Marquardt. Then came Jennifer Ross, Jameraquai May and Neeyah Turner to round out the scoring contingency. Carly Moore and Destini Richards completed the group of competitors for Penn State Harrisburg.

 

With the regular season now behind them, the Lions will turn their attention to next weekend's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championships. The event will take place on the campus of SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday morning, Oct. 26.
