YORK, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's tennis team kept rolling with a convincing 8-1 non-conference victory in the penultimate match of the fall season at York (Pa.) on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 8.

The Lions (4-1) took control in doubles action, winning all three matches to nab the early lead. Cooper Wheeler and Clayton Herb battled to an 8-7 victory with a 9-7 tiebreak decision in the hotly-contested No. 1 singles matchup, while Owen Ou and Derwin Merca came away with an 8-3 win in the No. 2 contest. Vik Patel and Colin Flack made it a doubles sweep with an 8-6 victory in the third outing.

The visitors continued to impress in singles play, led by Wheeler's 6-4, 6-2 win over York's Jason Lutz in the top contest. Ou dropped a back-and-forth three setter in the No. 2 matchup but the rest of Penn State Harrisburg's lineup emerged victorious.
