M. Tennis Falls to Penn State Berks In Regular Season Finale

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis' regular season came to an end with a 6-3 loss at the hands of North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) foe Penn State Berks at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Tuesday afternoon, April 20.

The Blue & White got off to a strong start in doubles play, taking two out of three from the opposing Lions. Unfortunately, that momentum didn't carry over into singles action, with only Casey Detwiler winning his solo contest.

Nick Rohn and Alex Kurtz were victorious in the top doubles outing, defeating Nicholas Weber and Curtis Uhle 8-3. Detwiler teamed up with Mohammed Azlmat to earn an 8-1 victory over Jake Bolles and Michael Hill in the No. 3 matchup. Detwiler also came away with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Bolles in the No. 6 singles contest.

The Lions finish the regular season with a 1-3 overall record this spring and a 1-2 mark in conference play. They'll await the determination of their opponent in the upcoming NEAC Tournament next week.
