Penn State Harrisburg Wins at Revolutionary Classic

Elkton, Md. - The Penn State Harrisburg men's golf team did not take long to shake the rust off their clubs that have not seen action since this past fall. At least not in a tournament format, but based on the team's play Sunday, the team's equipment could not be more fined tuned.   The Lions started their spring season by taking first place at the Revolutionary Classic March 21-22 hosted by Ursinus College at Patriots Glen National Golf Club.

The Lions where led by a trio who finished near the top.  Junior Tyler Massar (Lebanon, Pa. / Cedar Crest) and sophomore Tyler Shank (Palmyra, Pa. / Palmyra Area) finished at +6 over the par 72 course.  Their score was good enough to tie for 3rd overall in the tournament.  Also helping the Blue and White finish in front was freshmen Collin Hagenbuch (Easton, Pa. / Wilson) who finished right behind Massar and Shank with a +8 6th place finish.

The Lions will be in action again next Saturday March 28th when they travel to the Chambersburg Country Club to compete in the Wilson College Invitational.
