Men's Golf Finishes Ninth at Swarthmore's Northeast Shootout

WILMINGTON, Del. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team completed its time at the two-day Northeast Shootout hosted by Swarthmore at the DuPont Country Club on Tuesday evening, April 9.

 

As a group, the Lions carded a +108 to finish ninth out of 13 participating teams. Gavin Fegley and Matthew Redman were the team's top finishers, with Fegley shooting a +25 to secure a share of 31st and Redman finishing 34th out of 69 total golfers behind a +26.

 

Ian Martin nabbed a share of 36th overall with a +28, while Jacob Lotz finished in a tie for 41st thanks to his score of +32. Isaiah Day rounded out the group of Penn State Harrisburg competitors in 52nd place with a +46.

 

The Lions will wrap up the regular season at the Husky Invitational hosted by Bloomsburg on Thursday, April 18 before turning their attention to the United East Championship Tournament.
