Men's Golf Earns 12th-Place Finish at Pennsylvania Classic

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team secured a 12th-place finish out of 18 competing teams at the two-day Pennsylvania Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona at Penn State University's Blue and White Courses over the weekend.

 

The Lions carded a combined +83 (655) and were led by Isaiah Day's two-day total of +14 (157). Day's effort was strong enough to earn him a share of 28th overall out of 103 total golfers.  Ian Martin was the team's next-highest finisher with a +16 (159) - a two-day total good enough to clinch a share of 36th place.

 

Gavin Fegley carded a +20 (163) to secure a share of 54th overall, Matthew Redman finished in a tie for 68th thanks to a two-day +23 (166), and Jacob Lotz earned a share of 70th with a +24 (167). Johnny Waldridge and Bronson Early rounded out the Penn State Harrisburg contingency.

 

The Lions will return to action at the two-day Northeast Shootout hosted by Swarthmore in DuPont, Del. beginning on Monday, April 8.
