Lions Take fourth at ECAC’s

Macedon, N.Y. – Over the weekend the Penn State Harrisburg Men's Golf team took 4th place out of 11 teams at the ECAC Championships.

The lions Lead by Junior Tyler Massar (Lebanon, Pa/ Cedar Crest) finished the two day tournament with a team score of +69. Massar lead the team with a score of +7 which put him tied for 5th for the tournament. Also having a strong performance was Sophomore Tyler Shank (Palmyra, Pa/ Palmyra Area) who finished tied for 25th out of 64 competitors with a score of +18. Finishing ahead of the Lions where Suny-Oswego (+64), New York University (+51), and winning their ninth consecutive ECAC Championship was St. John Fisher College (+13).

The Lions with next be in action October 12th and 13th when they travel to Southpointe Golf Club in Canonsburg Pa. to compete in the Washington and Jefferson Invitational.
