CHAMPS! Women's Tennis Earns United East Title

HERSHEY, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's tennis team has secured the 2024 United East Championship. 

 

Due to a forfeit by Cairn, the Lions (15-6) earned the third conference title in program history and will compete in the upcoming NCAA Tournament for just the second time. Penn State Harrisburg defeated St. Mary's (Md.) 5-0 at the Hershey Racquet Club last weekend to capture the United East Volt Division Championship. Cairn, champions of the conference's Skye Division, was originally set to face off against the Lions on Saturday afternoon.

 

Penn State Harrisburg awaits the announcement of its initial NCAA Tournament opponent on Monday. First round action is set to begin on Friday, May 10.
