Bandini Earns Conference Player of the Week Recognition

LATHAM, N.Y. - After her stellar collegiate debut over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg's Olivia Bandini has been named the United East Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

 

During a season-opening 9-0 win over Susquehanna in her first collegiate event on Saturday afternoon, Bandini teamed with Breanna DeSantis to earn an 8-1 victory in the No. 1 doubles contest before securing a 6-4, 7-5 decision in the No. 2 singles matchup. 

 

The Lions return to action when they host York (Pa.) for another non-conference tilt on Saturday, Sept. 24. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
