MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - In their first match of the season, the Penn State Harrisburg women's tennis team fell to the Lancaster Bible College Chargers, 1-8. Becca Bomberger (Mountville, PA/Penn Manor) took the Lady Lions only win by defeating Lancater Bible College's Bri Funk 6-3, 7-5.
Bomberger and doubles partner Alejandra Protillo took on Carolyn Kensinger and Rachel Shmuck who snuck by with a 8-3 win over the Lady Lions.
Penn State Harrisburg will look to improve their record as they face Immaculata Univeristy at home Saturday, September 18 at 1:00 PM.
