LATHAM, N.Y. – Thanks to her contributions in a pair of victories, Penn State Harrisburg's Kyla Brossoit has been named the United East Volt Division Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Brossoit netted one goal each – both game-winning markers – in non-conference wins over Arcadia on Tuesday night and Muhlenberg on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The senior buried the game's lone goal in the 59th minute of a 1-0 win over the Knights on Tuesday and followed it up by converting the first marker in a convincing 4-0 victory against the Mules over the weekend.
The Hanover, Pa. native currently holds a share of the United East lead for game-winning goals (5). Her 10 career game-winning goals rank second all-time in Penn State Harrisburg history.
The Lions (8-3-3, 3-0 United East) return to action when they host conference rival Lancaster Bible for a key United East matchup on Wednesday night, Oct. 18.
