Women's Soccer Moves Up a Spot In Latest Regional Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the third consecutive week, Penn State Harrisburg's women's soccer team has been included in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Regional Rankings.

 

The Lions (4-3-1) moved up one spot to No. 7 in the USC Region IV Rankings thanks to a pair of shutout victories over Hood on Wednesday night and Gallaudet in the team's United East opener on Saturday afternoon.

 

Montclair State continues to hold the top spot, TCNJ moved up one spot to the runner-up position, and Misericordia fell one spot to third. NYU and Rowan held in the top five in the fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Stockton continues to hold the sixth spot and Arcadia rounds out the region's rankings in eighth.  

 

The Lions face another tough test when they travel to take on a Franklin & Marshall team receiving votes in the national rankings on Wednesday night, Sept. 27.
