Women's Soccer Ranked Eighth In Latest Regional Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the second straight week, Penn State Harrisburg's women's soccer team has earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Division III Regional Rankings. 

 

The Lions (3-3-1) remain at No. 8 in the USC Region IV Rankings thanks to a week that included a scoreless draw at Goucher on Wednesday night and a narrow setback against Shenandoah on Saturday afternoon. 

 

Montclair State holds the top spot, Misericordia dropped a spot to the runner-up position, and TCNJ remains third. NYU is up to four and Rowan rounds out the top five. Stockton holds the sixth spot, while Rutgers-Newark debuted in this week's rankings in the seventh position.  

 

The Lions open conference play when they host United East foe Gallaudet on Saturday afternoon.
