How It Happened

Penn State Harrisburg scored first but was unable to hold off a second-half charge in a 3-1 loss to North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) foe Keuka at Nittany Soccer Field on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 10.

The Lions (7-8-1, 5-2-1 NEAC) were the first to get on the board when Katie Kosovac gathered in a feed from Kaylie Derrickson in the left half of the box and put her attempt past Keuka goalkeeper Jessica Pegg in the 29th minute.

The lead held up until just after halftime when the Wolves (11-3, 8-0 NEA) drew even thanks to an Emily McGuigan marker off a Julia Oglesby assist in the 46th minute.

Things remained locked at 1-1 for the next 20 minutes before Lydia Hall put the visitors ahead for the first time with an unassisted score in the 65th minute. Hall was also involved in Keuka's final tally of the day, this time assisting on a strike by McGuigan in the 78th minute.
