How it Happened:

Kristen Stark put the Lions ahead early in the first half.  She received a great ball over the top from Senior Captain Rachel Asper and slotted it home to take a 1-0 lead at the 7:28 mark.   Tabitha Fake scored her first of the season with a great strike from 22 yards after a half cleared corner kick.  Harrisburg maintained control for most of the first half, but the Chargers brought an intensity to the second half.  Lancaster Bible brought a strong defensive work ethic that helped them to produce a more lively attack.  Both teams battled the weather and field conditions for a very physical, and scrambled second half.  Penn State's attacking players combined well to finish off the game when Lauryn Six scored her first collegiate goal in the final ten minutes.

Eliza Grim, Madison Hemler, Hailey Vavrek, Erin Kulp, Rachel Asper and both goalkeepers have played strong defensively as the Lions have now earned back-to-back shutouts.
