Blue and White Blow by the Visiting Lions

MIDDLETOWN, PA - High winds and high hopes put the blue and white on top over the visiting Lions of Lincoln University on Tuesday. Trying to get back on track, the Lady Lions of Penn State Harrisburg looked to dominate the entire match. With 32 shots, six corner kicks and three goals the Lady Lions did just that.

Although the blue and white were aggressive on offense at times they were too aggressive with a season high 10 offside offences. Though the offences slowed them down they still managed to put in three goals in the 25th minute by Tiffany Hoffman (Lower Dauphin/Middletown, PA), in the 44th by Allie Rank (Halifax/Halifax, PA)assisted by Adrienne Stine (Northeastern/York, PA), and in the 54th minute by Adrienne Stine assisted by Tiffany Hoffman and Katie Kessler (Palisades Charter/Calabasas, CA).

The Lady Lions´ defense looked near perfect only allowing 5 shots and one goal by Shaynita Blanchard of Lincoln University.

The Lady Lions of Penn State Harrisburg looked to continue their momentum in their upcoming North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) matchup against SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday October 25th at 12:00 PM in Middletown, PA.
