Penn State Harrisburg men’s track and field team sent two to compete over the weekend in last chance qualifiers so they can qualify for the ECAC Outdoor Championship this upcoming weekend.
York, Pa. – As the Penn State Harrisburg inaugural track & field season begins to wind down, the Lions looked to add to their already memorable season at the 2015 Capital Athletic Conference Championships. With the top competitors from the CAC battling for conference bragging rights, the Blue and White did what they could to take home top finishes in their first ever conference championship.
The Penn State Harrisburg track and field teams have had an exciting inaugural season in the Capital Athletic Conference. This weekend both the men's and women's teams will see where they stand at the conference championships with many Blue and White athletes in contention to finish near the top.
Shippensburg, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg took part in the Paul Kaiser Classic Saturday April 25th at Shippensburg University. The Blue and White went face to face with multiple schools from divisions I, II, and III from all over the region. The Lions have a lot to be proud of as they boasted numerous top finishes and personal records.
Gettysburg, Pa. – The Men’s and Women’s Track & Field team of Penn State Harrisburg took part in the Mason-Dixon Invitational at Gettysburg College Saturday April 18th. The Lions posted impressive numbers and boasted numerous top place finishes to improve on their already memorable inaugural season as a program.

Selinsgrove Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg men’s and women’s track and field team competed at the Jim Taylor Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University on Sunday March 30th.
New York City, Ny. – Sophomore Joey Phifer (Union, N.J / Union) has been a star for the Lions Track & Field team this year as well as a consistent top finisher meet after meet. Phifer’s leadership on and off the track has opened eyes across the Capital Athletic Conference and region, showing that he comes to compete every single day. He backed this up by earning a spot in the ECAC Championships March 6th and 7th in New York City.
Newport News, Va. – Penn State Harrisburg Traveled to Christopher Newport University to compete in their first ever Capital Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The Penn State Harrisburg men’s and women’s track and field team will travel to Christopher Newport Saturday February 21st to compete in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Indoor Track and Field Championship. Both track teams will look to make a splash at this year’s championship, which is the first ever for the newly formed program.
Penn State Harrisburg track and field traveled Sunday to fellow Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) member Christopher Newport to compete in the Vince Brown Invitational. This weekend’s meet was the last shot for the Blue and White athletes to set times and records in hopes of competing in the CAC indoor championships later this month.
Lewisburg, PA – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s and women’s track teams had to step up their efforts this weekend at the Bison Open hosted by Bucknell University. Even with a field consisting of mostly Division I and II programs, the Lions were not timid and showed they could compete with the higher level programs in a strong weekend outing.
