The Christopher Newport women and Salisbury men will aim to continue their championship winning streaks at the 2015 CAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship this weekend at York College of Pennsylvania.

Fresh off its third straight CAC Men's Indoor Championship, Salisbury looks to continue its reign atop the conference as the Sea Gulls vie for their fourth straight outdoor title. Led by CAC Athlete of the Year and five-time national champion Luke Campbell, Salisbury edged out Christopher Newport for last year's outdoor title and the indoor crown this past winter. A four-peat will be no small task for Campbell and Sea Gulls, as CAC competition has never been stiffer than it is entering the 2015 championship meet.

On the women's side, second-year member Christopher Newport has already proven to be a force atop the CAC Women's Track & Field standings. The Captains have gone three-for-three in CAC Championships, capturing indoor titles the past two seasons and claiming the outdoor crown on their home turf last spring.

The 2015 CAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship is set for this Saturday and Sunday at York College of Pennsylvania. The two-day competition begins on Saturday with a handful of events at 3 p.m., including the pole vault, hammer, javelin, triple jump and 10,000-meter runs. Day two on Sunday includes field events beginning at 10 a.m. and running event finals at 11 a.m.

This year's championship will feature seven competing squads for the first time since 2012, as Penn State Harrisburg will take part in the meet as a first-year track & field program.
