HILTON HEAD, S.C. - After weather delayed the first scheduled match of spring break, Penn State Harrisburg's men's tennis team opened their week in Hilton Head with an 8-1 loss to Pfeiffer on Monday morning, March 4.

Cooper Wheeler battled through a super tiebreak to secure the team's lone victory when he defeated Pfeiffer's Dylan Masters in a thrilling No. 1 singles contest that ended 6-4, 3-6, 10-7. He teamed up with Damir Cuturic in the top doubles matchup but the duo fell short.

Elsewhere in doubles action, Penn State Harrisburg (5-2) saw Andrew Schreck and Vik Patel topped by Pfeiffer's Dylan Masters and Andres Valdez-Arze in the second outing, while Derwin Merca and Colin Flack were bested in the No. 3 besting.

The Falcons (4-2) continued their strong play in singles play, as Cuturic and Mateo Sonaglia fell to their Pfeiffer counterparts in the top half of the lineup, while Merca, Patel, and Flack also came up short in the No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 outings, respectively.
