LATHAM, N.Y. - For the second time this season, Penn State Harrisburg's Cooper Wheeler has been named the United East Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Wheeler was responsible for a pair of victories in Penn State Harrisburg's convincing 8-1 win at York (Pa.) on Sunday afternoon. The freshman teamed with Clayton Herb to claim a hard-fought 8-7 (9-7) decision in the top doubles outing and followed it up by rolling to a 6-4, 6-2 triumph in the No. 1 singles matchup. The Red Lion, Pa. native has been strong to begin his collegiate career and currently sits 4-0 in solo action and 3-2 in doubles play this season.

The Lions (4-1) will wrap up the fall portion of their 2023-24 slate when they travel to Susquehanna for non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
