Season Ends For Men's Tennis In Conference Semifinal Round

HERSHEY, Pa. - The 2022-23 campaign came to an end for Penn State Harrisburg's men's tennis team with a 5-3 loss to Lancaster Bible in the semifinal round of the United East Championship Tournament at the Hershey Racquet Club on Friday night, April 28. 

 

In doubles action, Penn State Harrisburg's Owen Ou and Derwin Merca secured the team's lone win thanks to an 8-1 decision against LBC's Devon Clemmer and Josh Jarvis in the top outing. 

 

Andrew Schreck was victorious in singles play, topping Jarvis 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 2 solo matchup, while Ou earned his second win of the night with a 6-3, 6-4 besting of the Chargers' Micah Weaver in the third contest. 

 

The Lions end the season with a 9-5 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference play.
