KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Division II Kutztown on Thursday afternoon, March 30. NCAA Division II scoring rules were used, with doubles counting as a single available point when one team wins two of the three contests.

The Lions were swept in doubles play, with the team's No. 2 duo of ZiJun Ou and Derwin Merca keeping things within reach before falling 6-2.

Ou played a tough singles match as well, going three sets with KU's Emmitt Robinson before falling 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 in the No. 3 solo outing. Evan Stillwell was also competitive in the sixth singles contest, taking Ethan Moyer to a tiebreak before bowing out 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.

The Lions (3-3) are scheduled to open conference play when they host United East foe Penn State Berks at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.
