Men's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Match to Kutztown

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis team was defeated 7-2 by non-conference opponent Kutztown at home on Saturday afternoon, April 16. 

 

The No. 1 doubles contest was a success for the Lions as Caleb Fockens and Sachin Venkatesh came away with an 8-6 victory over Kutztown's Gonzalo Barcelo and Neal Devkaran, but the Golden Bears went two for three in doubles play to open the day. 

 

Fockens continued to impress in singles action, as he topped Barcelo 6-1, 6-3 in the top singles contest. 

 

The Blue & White are hosting a non-conference match against Clarks Summit at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Tuesday afternoon, April 19. The first serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
