Men's Tennis Season Ends In Conference Title Match

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis finished its most-recent campaign as the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Runner-Up after dropping a 6-3 decision to Lancaster Bible at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon, May 1.

 

The Lions got strong efforts from their top players in Sachin Venkatesh and Nick Rohn, with the pair teaming up take down LBC's top doubles duo of Devon Clemmer and Tyler Norris 8-5 in the No. 1 contest.

 

The pair's stellar play continued in singles action, as Venkatesh stayed perfect on the day with a 7-6 (7-4). 6-4 win over Clemmer in the top solo matchup, while Rohn worked hard to earn a 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 victory in the No. 2 singles outing.

 

The Lions finished the 2021 season with a 3-4 overall record after making a run to the conference championship match.
