St. Mary's (Md.) Holds Off Men's Tennis

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) opponent St. Mary's (Md.) at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon, April 6.

The Lions (7-9, 0-5 CAC) came away with one victory in doubles play thanks to Jared Gluck and Anthony Brominski's 8-3 win over SMC's Jacob Bartholow and Cooper Clark in the No. 3 matchup.

Penn State Harrisburg's depth paid off in singles action, as the bottom of the lineup earned a pair of victories for the home team. Austin Stehman took care of Bartholow 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 5 contest, while Alex Kurtz went 6-4, 6-0 over Clark in the sixth slot.

The Blue & White will look to pick up that elusive first conference win when they host Frostburg State at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon, April 13.
