READING, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 3-0 shutout victory over conference foe Penn State Berks on Tuesday night to finish unbeaten in United East play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The visiting Lions (7-4-7, 3-0-3 United East) used one first half goal and back-to-back markers midway through the second to down the hometown Lions (2-10-3, 1-5-0 United East) in each team's regular season finale on Tuesday night.

Colin O'Hara got the scoring started when he corralled a ball from Marc Rodgers and put his attempt past Penn State Berks goalkeeper Ethan Brazier in the 30th minute.

The visitors kept the momentum rolling into the second half when Jaden Longdon doubled the advantage with a score off a feed in the box from Alexander Benbatoul in the 65th minute. Penn State Harrisburg wasted little time adding an insurance marker when less than three minutes later, Griffen Martello got to a loose ball in front and smashed a shot past Brazier to put a cap on the game's scoring and put things out of reach.

NOTABLES

- Penn State Harrisburg outshot Penn State Berks 15-to-4 overall and 6-to-1 in shots on goal.
