MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - For the second time in as many outings, Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team battled to a draw, this time of the scoreless variety against Lycoming in non-conference action on Wednesday night, Sept. 20.

HOW IT HAPPENED

While Penn State Harrisburg (2-3-3) was unable to capitalize on a couple of scoring chances on Wednesday night, the Lions turned a strong defensive effort, keeping Lycoming (3-2-3) off the board and securing the team's second shutout of the season.

The first half saw each squad get off a pair of shots on frame but Penn State Harrisburg goalkeeper Marcus Goodley and Lycoming goalkeeper Nick Wilke proved up to the task, with each making two saves to keep things scoreless at the break.

Jacob Tankersley fired off a couple of shots for the home team in the closing minutes but was unable to find the back of the net, with Wilke turning away two of them. The best scoring chance for the Warriors came when Aidan Stillman got off a good look in the final 50 seconds but Goodley charged to make a clutch save that kept the visitors from breaking through and clinched the tie.
