Fombu Named United East Offensive Player of the Week

LATHAM, N.Y. - Penn State Harrisburg's Daniel Fombu has been named the United East Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

 

Fombu shined in three games last week, racking up three goals, including a pair of game winners, and recording an assist to tally seven total points. The sophomore netted the game-winning marker in a victory at Rosemont on Wednesday night, followed it up with another score against Medaille on Saturday night, and closed out the weekend by converting the game-winning goal and adding an assist in a win at Alfred on Sunday afternoon.

 

The Lions return to action when they travel to No. 19 Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
