LANCASTER, Pa. - No. 25 Penn State Harrisburg clinched the 2021 United East Men's Soccer Regular Season Championship thanks to a 3-0 shutout victory over conference foe Lancaster Bible on Wednesday night, Oct. 20.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lions (11-1-1, 7-0 United East) scored three times in the second half of a shutout of Lancaster Bible (8-4-3, 3-1-2 United East) on Wednesday night to remain undefeated in United East play and secure the program's second consecutive regular season conference title.

Following a scoreless first half, Penn State Harrisburg eventually broke through less than seven minutes after the break when Michael Albers headed home a corner kick insertion by Jose Palomeque to put the visitors on the board first in the 51st minute.

Palomeque followed it up with a penalty kick conversion 10 minutes later after Justin Elnahrawy drew a foul in the Lancaster Bible box with 29:30 left to play. With his team in control midway through the second half, Tyler Madairy got into the scoring act with an insurance goal that put things out of reach for good in the 71st minute.

After taking the lead early in the second half, the Blue & White defense surrendered just one shot on goal to the Chargers the rest of the way.
